happy friday everyone! any big plans for the weekend? i, of course, will be working. but that’s ok because, let’s be honest, what else would i be doing? (baking and having a drink, that’s the correct answer)
i found this little diy was in my inbox this morning from gap:
it’s pretty cute, right? this project could fill up a little chunk of your weekend. i don’t have a beach but it would be a cute little farmer’s market tote…for whenever i actually end up going.
another thing you can co this weekend is make some cookies! it’s really the best weekend activity. especially if you make them and deliver to someone special while they’re still warm. maybe you’ll get a free cup of coffee in exchange! that’s usually how my goodie deliveries go. except when i deliver to my dad’s…then i get booze in exchange. that works too!
yes, i do have a cookie recipe for you. don’t worry. i came up with this one because i needed to use up some crispy rice cereal (which you may have read about here). and they’re not bad, not bad at all… the little cereal pieces are a little chewy, in a good way. if you’re into that sort of thing.

1 t. vanilla
1 ½ c. crispy rice cereal
1/2 c. white chocolate chips

-whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt. set aside.
-in separate bowl cream together sugar and butter. mix in egg and vanilla. stir in flour mixture.
